We must keep shipyard afloat

FERGUSONS has a long and proud tradition of shipbuilding and has been a key employer on the Clyde for decades.

While it never built ocean liners or warships, the yard has always been a source of immense pride.

But its future remains in doubt following the disastrous decision by the SNP government to order two large ferries in 2015 with complex dual-fuel systems.
