DUNDEE UNITED have been dealt a hammer blow with BOTH of their main strikers ruled out - leaving rookie Owen Stirton as Jim Goodwin's only fit forward.

Top scorer Max Watters limped off at the weekend with a hamstring injury, just as hed hit red-hot form with four goals in four games.

Strike partner Zac Sapsford had already been sidelined for up to a month with ankle ligament damage suffered in the Conference League defeat to Rapid Vienna.
