Saints sub nets leveller at the death to stun Dons

RICHARD KING crowned a late comeback as he grabbed battling St Mirren a dramatic stoppage-time leveller.

The Jamaica defender came off the bench and netted in the 99th minute at Pittodrie.

Stephen Robinson said after their weekend defeat to Dundee that St Mirren are in a relegation fight.

The Premier Sports Cup finalists showed they are still up for the fight.

They landed a blow on Aberdeen who had looked to be moving within touching distance of the top six.

Jimmy Thelin's side fell behind to Marcus Fraser's penalty before Dante Polvara and Marko Lazetic hit back.

Jonah Ayunga then levelled before Lazetic scored again - and King came up with the goods late on to ensure a share of the spoils.

The Dons are seven games unbeaten in all competitions but know they should have been two points better off.
