Environmental groups offering two posts to help tackle scourge on our shores
TWO sea litter wardens are wanted to tackle the plastic scourge washing up on Scotland's shores.
The Scottish Islands Federation is recruiting the officers to support the work of its Marine Litter Working Group.
It says they will be part of "driving change on the blight of marine litter across the islands".
One officer will be focusing on the northern isles and the other on the west coast.
Each post is for 28 hours a week each, fixed term and based on a full-time equivalent salary of £30,000-a-year.
