THAT IS WELL WORTH WAIT

CLARK ROBERTSON has had to wait a long time to get revenge on Celtic.

- BY RYAN MCDONALD

The defender was part of the Aberdeen side that suffered a 9-0 battering at Parkhead in 2010.

Now 15 years later, the Dundee stopper can finally banish the memories that have haunted him throughout his career.

Goal hero Robertson nodded the Dees in front in their 2-0 victory over the champions. And he said: “Was that 15 years ago? It's still a painful one.

“I was 17 at the time and whenever I step on a football pitch I just think nothing can be as bad as that, getting beaten 9-0.

“You've got to go on to the pitch with no fear and I think most of the boys did that today.

“It's always nice to get one over them. It’s an amazing feeling, just the adrenalin rush you get, it’s just unbelievable.
