Former Morton man Morgan insists Simo’s side will be ready to rumble

- FRASER MACKIE

MORGAN BOYES loved to size up visiting sides at Cappielow - and spot that they didn’t fancy it.

But he has vowed there's no chance of St Johnstone fearing today’s test. Ex-Inverness and Livingston man Boyes played for Ton last year before a summer switch to Perth.

He’ back in Greenock along with other ex-Morton lads Jack Baird and Reghan Tumilty. The 24-year-old said: “After a season at Morton I'm fully aware what can happen when teams go to Cappielow.

“The pitch, surroundings and stadium all play into their hands. So we kind of know what were in for.

“You used to know you wouldn't face the prettiest of football styles there, it would be a fight for 90 minutes instead of playing football.
