SNP wrong to hold back Sturgeon info

THE Scottish Government wrongly withheld information that was part of an investigation into whether Nicola Sturgeon breached the ministerial code, the Information Commissioner has ruled.
The former first minister was cleared of a breach by an independent adviser in 2021, following a botched investigation into harassment allegations against her predecessor Alex Salmond.
The evidence submitted was demanded to be provided by a member of the public under freedom of information rules, but was denied.
