Boss Rohl relishes hectic schedule as he bids to breathe new life into team

ONE thing we've learned already about Danny Rohl from his short spell as Rangers boss is he's big on the little personal touches.

For instance, ahead of every media conference, he'll make a point of shaking hands with each and every person in the press room.

Perhaps it’s simply a refreshing case of good manners.

Or more likely it’s an attempt to quickly put names to the faces Gers’ new German gaffer reckons he’s going to be seeing a lot of over the next few months.

The 36-year-old is barely a week into his Ibrox assignment and so far there's hardly been a moment to draw breath.

Only unveiled eight days ago, within 24 hours he was up and away on the flight to Norway once we turn the calendar over to 2026, with six games in the diary for January.

But being busy isn't a problem for Rohl.

The former Sheffield Wednesday coach laughed and said: “Yeah, it’s good, I see you guys more than my wife, this is the first impression.

“No, of course guys, it’s part of our business. My first week was up and down, I must say this. When I arrived, youre excited, you want to see the team, you go to the first European game, then you feel straight away, ooft! It’s a challenge.
