MUSEUM staff conserving a Bronze Age hoard have described how they saw it emerge from beneath thousands of years of dirt.

The Peebles Hoard, which was found by a metal detectorist in 2020, is made up of more than 500 bronze and organic objects, dating to 1000BC-800BC.
