Rohl insists Gers don't need O'Neill's pundit jibes to fire them up

DANNY ROHL insists his Rangers players will not need to use Martin O'Neill's radio jibes as motivation - because they're already fired up to beat Celtic.

The Hoops stand-in gaffer has been scathing in his criticism of Gers this season as a talkSPORT pundit.

O'Neill dismissed their chances of the Hampden dressing room before tomorrow's Premier Sports Cup semi-final.

He says his squad have enough determination to win the derby, without using O'Neill's comments to get them up for it. But when asked about challenging for the title in this campaign and said the current Ibrox side would be hammered by the team he squared up to during his first stint at Parkhead 25 years ago.
