Queens are now Kai and mighty

KAI KENNEDY reckons Queen of the South laid down amarker as they got back to winning ways with a 4-0 rout of Peterhead.

The Doonhamers went into the Blue Toon clash on the back of two straight defeats but Kennedy's strike added to goals from Kurtis Guthrie, Benjamin Luissint and Taylor Charters to lift them into second spot.

Former Rangers kid Kennedy said: “Everybody knows the last couple of games haven't been good enough, it wasn't just that we lost, it was how we lost.

“To come out and make a statement showed a big performance from us.
