PM's talks over using Russian billions

PRIME Minister Keir Starmer held crunch talks with Belgian counterpart Bart De Wever last night as European leaders battle to unlock billions in Russian assets to help Ukraine.

European countries hold around €210billion (£184bn) frozen at the start of the war, much of which is being retained in Belgium.

Kyiv is running out of funds and attempts to secure a peace deal have repeatedly hit the buffers.
