Guardiola won the Club World Cup in its previous guise with Barcelona in 2009 and 2011, with Bayern Munich in 2013 and again with City in 2023.
It is a record trophy haul for the Catalan and he has his sights on a fifth success along with becoming the first manager to win the new-look tournament.
