PEP: DO NOT EXPECT US TO BE CHAMPS

PEP GUARDIOLA insists title-winning expectations should not be applied to his current Manchester City team.

The Citizens suffered a second defeat in a row, after goals from Brighton subs James Milner and Brajan Gruda cancelled out Erling Haaland’s strike on his 100th Premier League game.

Many tipped City for another title chase after spending close to £200million on Rayan Cherki, Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Ait-Nouri and James Trafford. But after they were caught cold by Brighton's second-half onslaught, Guardiola warned his new-look team have not clicked yet.
