AN Oasis fan died in his hotel hours before the band's gig at Murrayfield.

Reports suggest Italian dentist Alessandro Croce, 30, was getting ready for the event when he collapsed at the hotel in Edinburgh.

Friends and paramedics could not resuscitate him.
