RECORD singles Grand Slam holder Novak Djokovic is on a mission to “mess up” an anticipated Jannik Sinner-Carlos Alcaraz US Open final after storming into the last four at Flushing Meadows.

The 38-year-old booked his spot in the semifinal with a 6-3 7-5 3-6 6-4 win over home favourite Taylor Fritz inside the Arthur Ashe Stadium on Tuesday.
Djokovic, who was unhappy with the partisan crowd during the clash, has not won a Grand Slam since the 2023 US Open.
