Killer's cowardly bus smash suicide bid after being dumped

A MAN who murdered a bus driver by driving into the vehicle in a suicide bid has been jailed for life.

David Livingstone planned to take his own life after he was dumped by his long-term partner.

The 44-year-old played an online "yes/no" game to decide his fate before the fatal crash on the A77 near Fenwick, Ayrshire, in August 2023.

He was in his work's Ford Transit van when he smashed into the single-decker Stagecoach bus driven by Gordon Stirling, from Crosshouse, Ayrshire.
