JESSIE J has told how her mum broke down after seeing the singer in distress following a mastectomy and said: “I wish it was me.”

The pop star, 37, who revealed in April that she had breast cancer, had surgery in June and has now opened up about how she is tackling her recovery.

She recalled one recent emotional moment when her mum, Rose Cornish, tended to her post-surgery scars.
