Jailed child sex trafficker won't help victims | US lawmaker: 'Girl, nine, abused by Epstein'

GHISLAINE Maxwell is seen on video inside her cushy Texas prison refusing to help her victims as US lawmakers quizzed her about Jeffrey Epstein.

Her refusal to speak came as politicians disclosed the late financier may have had a victim as young as nine and was linked to a current senior foreign government official.

They also revealed six men have had their names redacted from the Epstein files.

Looking notably healthier than when she was last seen in court, having visibly gained weight, convicted teen sex trafficker Maxwell invoked her right to silence.

Dressed in a beige prison uniform, glasses perched on her face and her dark hair cropped short, Maxwell, 64, appeared composed throughout her 20-minute video deposition.

The footage shows her speaking only to spell her name and repeatedly invoke her “right to silence”.

The testimony took place as members of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee examined newly released documents linked to Epstein.

Maxwell was questioned by James Comer, the Republican chairman of the committee, about her relationship with Epstein. “I would like to answer your question,” Maxwell says calmly. “But on the advice of counsel, I respectively decline to answer this question and any related questions.” Maxwell was sentenced in 2022 to 20 years in prison for procuring underage girls for Epstein.
