Martindale kept Cam & his word over star's injury

DAVIE MARTINDALE always knew Cammy Kerr would break down with another groin issue but is delighted the defender can finally see light at the end of the tunnel.

The right-back is still waiting to make his Lions debut after suffering a setback in preseason to the injury that's sidelined him since December.

And Martindale admits he was prepared to take a gamble on the 30-year-old when he signed him from Queen's Park in the summer despite a scan flagging up potential problems.
