Celtic star Liam Scales celebrates role in Ireland's last-gasp winner

TROY PARROTT had a bawl as his sensational hat-trick kept the Republic of Ireland's World Cup dream alive.

The AZ Alkmaar striker had already twice hauled the Irish back level with Hungary on a dramatic night in Budapest when he pounced on Celtic star Liam Scales’ set up to prod home a 96th minute winner.

It was his fifth goal in two games after his double sank Portugal on Thursday, and secured second spot in Group F for the Irish.
