Cop probe after grim discovery of human body part

A HUMAN leg still wearing a shoe and sock has been washed up on a beach.

The grim discovery was made by a member of the public while walking on Prestwick beach, Ayrshire, on Tuesday at around 10.45am.

Police are yet to reveal whether the remains are those of a male or a female. But one witness claimed they saw a leg bone with a sock and shoe still attached.
