Askou won't rule out Lennon for Gers clash as speculation mounts

JENS BERTHEL ASKOU insists teenage talent Lennon Miller has the maturity to handle the speculation over his Fir Park future.

Motherwell manager Askou revealed there is concrete interest in the 18-year-old and the club are considering offers for him.

Serie A duo Bologna and Udinese are battling for him, while Ipswich Town and Celtic have also been linked with the Scotland cap.

Askou has held discussions with Miller over his future and insists the final decision will be one that's best for the player and the club.

Askou said: “Everyone has noticed that he since he came up in the first team that he, first of all plays with a lot of maturity, but he also behaves and conducts himself with maturity off the pitch.

“Which is also one of the reasons that he has wore the captain’s armband and then we still have to remember that even though he’ a mature young man he still he is still young.

“And that he’ still got a lot of wisdom in life ahead of him that will come to him but he’s in a good place.
