Crooks raid pad in Portugal
A GANG raided the home of football boss Roberto Martinez and his Scots wife, and fled with jewellery and watches worth up to £700,000.
The robbers struck at the Portugal manager's luxury pad - which he shares with Beth - in Cascais, near the capital Lisbon.
The couple who met while Martinez, 52, played for Motherwell in 2002 were not in the property when the crooks struck on Saturday afternoon.
Police believe the thieves knew the pair would be out of the bungalow and were rummaging about for loot for several hours.
Forensic experts have been sweeping the home on the Atlantic Ocean for clues.
