Dobie will relish big clash at SL home of football

JAMIE DOBIE can’t wait to run out at Hampden as a Glasgow player – as he’s never been before.

Warriors are expected to confirm today that they are switching their leg of the festive derby double-header with Edinburgh to the home of Scottish football.

Franco Smith’s side have made Scotstoun a fortress in recent seasons on their way to becoming URC champs.

But with a capacity of only 8000, the hope is that moving the 1872 Cup clash to Hampden will allow Glasgow to attract a much bigger crowd just days before Christmas.
