Break key for Brazilian to get up to speed

DEREK McINNES says this international break is vital in getting Ageu up to speed - especially after fellow midfielder Beni Baningime picked up an injury.

Brazilian Ageu has only managed three outings off the Hearts bench - the latest coming in Sunday's draw with Dundee United ~ either side of a hamstring tear sidelining him.

But with playmaker Baningime ruled out for up to six weeks with a hamstring issue, the league leaders now hope the £1.7million recruit will be in a position to start at Aberdeen in 11 days’ time.

Boss McInnes, whose side are seven points clear of Celtic having played a game more, said: “We've got a bounce game on Wednesday and we'll get the chance to step up the work with some of them.
