Rangers a bit of hope. Djeidi Gassma thought he had made it 3-2 five minutes from time when he bundled the ball home but it was ruled out for VAR because he kicked it out of keeper Simon Mignolet's hands.
Rangers now have a mountain to climb in Brugge next week if they want to claim a £40million golden ticket.
Gutted manager Martin admitted the calamatious opening 20 minutes has left them with a massive mountain to climb.
But he is adamant the second-half performance gives them hope of a stunning revival next week.
He said: “I’m really proud of the second half, the game is not over, the tie is not over.
“The energy was completely different in the second half and I'm really proud of them for that because it wasn't easy.
“That's the hardest a lot of these players are going to face.
