DJ fighting to get loved ones on flight after cancer diagnosis

A SCOTS dad given a terminal cancer diagnosis has claimed visa red tape is stopping him spending his "last Christmas" with his fiancee and daughter.

Adrian O'Grady, 42, was told he had stage four colon cancer just days ago and is being treated in hospital in Glasgow.

But the international DJ, originally from Bearsden, has a fiancee and four-year-old daughter in Bali, who have been unable to get to the UK to see him.

Adrian said his special plans to spend Christmas over here with his family are in crisis as daughter Chloe's tourist visa remains "stuck in limbo".

He was forced to abandon his family's flights for a fifth time yesterday.

And he is facing celebrating the festive period without his daughter and partner Yanti if the Home Office does not answer his plea for help.

Adrian said: "I have found out I have stage four colon cancer and don't know how long I've got left to live.

"It doesn't get much more serious than that.
