Jesy Nelson reveals her pregnancy health battle

JESY Nelson has revealed she was in a constant state of fear for her twin girls during her pregnancy after they were diagnosed with a rare condition.

The former Little Mix star, 34, and her partner Zion Foster, 25, welcomed their daughters in May at nearly 32 weeks, naming them Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster.

Speaking in her first live interview, with ITV's This Morning yesterday, Jesy revealed she could not enjoy the pregnancy after learning at 21 weeks pregnant that the girls had twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome.

Identical twins can share the same placenta, with some blood vessels joining them. Twins with TTTS do not have an equal flow of blood, which means one baby can become anaemic and the other can receive too much blood, leading to heart failure.
