Man, 36, left with horror injuries after raid

A SLASHING victim suffered horrific injuries after a gang stormed his home in a bloody blade attack.

TJ Byrne, 36, said he is lucky to be alive after men burst into his property in Lochgelly, Fife, at about 6am last Thursday and slashed his face.

Police and ambulance crews raced to the scene after being alerted to an alleged robbery and assault, and TJ was taken to hospital for treatment.

He has since shared pictures of his wounds with the Record.
