Hip sauces catch up on tomato fave

SALES of tomato ketchup and other traditional condiments are falling as demand for trendy alternatives - such as truffle hot sauce - soars.

Latest data shows sales of new-wave offerings, like the spicy fungus sauce and mayo made from avocado oil, have risen 23 per cent in the past year.
