Mob orchestrator turfed out of desert state... now he could seek refuge in South America, Thugs' lawyers tell hoods of extradition threat as they pay price for Scots turf war

- JOHN PAUL CLARK

GANG war kingpin Ross McGill has been released from jail in Dubai with a crew of feared Scots hoods.

The Record has been told that McGill, 31, Lyons family boss Steven Lyons, 44, drugs hood Stephen “Jimmy” Jamieson, 42, and Lyons clan associate Steven Larwood were freed at the weekend after they were banged up in the desert state 12 days ago.

It is not known if another man arrested, thought to be a Rangers Ultra pal of McGill's, has also been let out.

Underworld sources told the Record that all four of the crime lords have been ordered to leave the state.

One said: “McGill was let out on Saturday morning and told never to return to Dubai again.

“He was turfed out onto the streets of Abu Dhabi so nobody knows where he will go next.

“It could be he goes to South America because he has a lot of connections over there that James ‘The Don’ White put him in touch with.

“He won't be coming back to Scotland in a hurry though.”

Another source said the rest of the men were released on Friday night.

They said: “Lyons, Jimmy Jamieson and Larwood were let out on Friday. They've been booted out of Dubai.”

We previously told how the Scots gangsters were lifted in a dramatic early-morning raid on September 16 as cops in the UAE cracked down on serious and organised crime.
