Nuke wants to join nine-darter club to land special set of darts

LUKE LITTLER watched Luke Humphries and Rob Cross win £30,000 sets of golden arrows and wished he was one in a bullion too.

On an expensive night for Premier League sponsors BetMGM on Thursday, Humphries and Cross became the first players to land the special bonus for any player who hits a nine-darter.

Luke the Nuke is used to everything he touches turning to 18-carat and said: "I'd love to get my hands on those gold darts."

The 18-year-old world champ was backstage in the players' room when world No.1 Humphries and Cross unfurled their perfect legs in Brighton and land bespoke darts. At £30,000 a pop they are the most sought after accessories on the circuit.
