Heartbreak for Redknapp as Gaelic Warrior romps home
THERE was heartbreak for Harry Redknapp as Gaelic Warrior won the Gold Cup at Cheltenham yesterday.
Former Spice Girl Geri Horner and ex-F1 boss husband Christian were among a massive 67,000 crowd who witnessed jockey Paul Townend storming home on the favourite.
I was standing behind former Spurs and West Ham manager Redknapp, his wife Sandra and his ex-footballer son Jamie as his horse Jukebox Man finished eighth in the big race. Harry told me: "He just ran out of steam. I'm so proud of him but he just ran out of steam."
