Four in five women report being preyed on by creeps

THE world of Scots folk music has been rocked by allegations of rape and other sexual violence.

Four in five women have suffered sexual violence and harassment while working or taking part in the trad music scene, according to Glasgow University research.

One woman said: "The person was a 'much-loved character' on the scene, so he was believed, and I wasn't."

Most of the incidents in the survey took place in folk sessions and after gigs.
