Family 'sorry' after error felling trees

THE owners of a restaurant have said they "made a mistake" when they pulled down trees for a possible car park extension.

The trees were cut down on the grounds of the Osprey in Strathaven Road, East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, which is currently being done up by the Birk family.
