STEVEN PRESSLEY has revealed Brendan Rodgers swung open the Lennoxtown doors to him when he was out of management.

ELVIS SINGS PRAISES OF BRENDAN

RESPECT Dens boss Pressley

And the Dundee gaffer will now go head to head with the title-winning boss when Celtic come calling on Sunday.

Pressley reached out to Rodgers to see if he could watch him coach and learn at close quarters.

He is ready to return that hospitality this weekend but with the caveat that the points stay in Tayside.

It is a big ask as Dundee haven't beaten Celtic at home in 37 years, though, and Pressley said: "I went to visit Brendan when he was at Celtic and I was out of management at the time. I went in and spent a day with him.

"It was very good and he makes you feel welcome. I appreciated that.

"I really enjoyed it and I picked up a few things.

"That is one of his many strengths, that he is very accommodating to managers who are young and aspiring or out of the game. He understands how hard a job it is and so he opens doors for people.
