EDDIE HOWE insists Newcastle must treat their Champions League tie at the Nou Camp this evening as if it was the Final.

The head coach is still a few steps from the May 30 showpiece in Budapest but Newcastle - who arrived in Barcelona with 10,000 fans with them - go in level against the La Liga leaders.

Howe is only too aware of the magnitude of the fixture and said: “We try to treat every game as if it’s a Champions League Final.

“We're in a different environment, one we've never been to before, and welll enjoy the game when it comes - but we'll only truly enjoy it if we deliver what we know we need to and [think were in a good place to do that”
