Easson targets best-ever win over Canadians

BRYAN EASSON reckons that beating Canada today would be just about the best result in Scotland women's rugby history.

But the head coach knows that will be easier said than done against a team ranked second in the world - and rated even tougher physically than World Cup favourites England.

Both sides are already through to the quarterfinals after beating Wales and Fiji in their first two games in Pool B, so the high noon showdown in Exeter will decide who wins the pool - and probably avoids the hosts in the quarterfinals.
