Axed Oasis drummer Tony: Me &Gallaghers get on better now

- MARK JEFFERIES

Drum might say..

FORMER Oasis drummer Tony McCarroll has told how things are improving between him and the Gallagher brothers, nearly 30 years after they axed him.

And the 53-year-old said Liam even put him and some pals on a guest list for his Definitely Maybe solo tour.

Tony left Oasis in April 1995 after Noel claimed his drumming was not up to scratch, and he was paid £500,000 in 1999 after suing the band for millions in unpaid royalties.

But Tony said: "You know, things are thawing out as we get older.

"I had a massive guest list from him [Liam] a couple of months ago for 11 of us from the family when he did the Definitely Maybe tour." Tony clashed more with Noel than Liam in the band.
