Zak so confident United can silence Ibrox crowd and record a first win there for 13 years

- BY DAVID REID

ZAC SAPSFORD insists Dundee United are not heading to Rangers this afternoon as underdogs as the striker targets ending a 13-year winning drought.

You have to go back to a 3-2 win at Ibrox in 2011 for the last time the Tangerines won in the league with David Goodwillie netting a late winner.

Aussie Sapsford, who has four goals this season, wants to create his own piece of history and silence the home supporters who are still hurting after a disastrous start to the campaign.

He said: “We're the supposed underdogs going into the game at Ibrox but we've got big belief we can get the three points.

“Regardless of whether we're playing Celtic or Rangers, we believe we can win.

“I didn't know that it's been so long since we last won at Ibrox.

“But the record at Ibrox doesn’t bother me. Records like that don’t mean much on the day, it’s all about how you perform.”
