Ex-first minister had concerns over Alba finances

POLICE are investigating "irregularities" in the finances of the late Alex Salmond's pro-independence party.

Police Scotland said the issue had been reported two months after Kenny MacAskill beat Ash Regan for the leadership of Alba.
