Cabbie hit kid after he ran red light

AN EDINBURGH cabbie struck a four-year-old child after driving through a red light as pedestrians crossed the road.

Duncan Beattie, 77, claimed he did not see the red light as he was driving along South Gyle Broadway, near the Burne Cruik junction, on April 15.
