BEN: WE HAVE GREAT CHANCE BUT CAN'T GET CARRIED AWAY

BEN GANNON-DOAK has warned nobody can get carried away because Scotland haven't achieved anything in this World Cup qualifying campaign yet. Steve Clarke's side have guaranteed a play-off spot but outwith that there is nothing set in stone.

- BY SCOTT BURNS

The hard part is now about getting over the line, by winning the group over the last two games against Greece and Denmark or via the playoffs.

Gannon-Doak said: "Let's not get carried away, we still need to win games. We're in a great position and it's as good a chance as any to go to America - but we need to go and do the job first."

Gannon-Doak is confident Scotland will up their game and qualify directly for the finals.
