3 held after weekend of capital rallies

TWO people have been arrested for terror-related offences after weekend protests.

The men, aged 67 and 82, were held and charged in connection with the Terrorism Act.

With a number of protests taking place in Edinburgh on Saturday, a 63-year-old man was also arrested and charged with a hate crime. The three were later released and reports were submitted to the fiscal.
