Wales house prices rising at fastest pace in over 2 years

ACCORDING to the latest research from Principality Building Society covering the first quarter of 2025, January to March, the average price of a home sold in Wales is now £238,413, with prices rising quarter on quarter at their fastest pace in over two years.

This is a rise of 4% year-on-year and an increase of 2.2% on the previous quarter, covering October to December 2024.

However, the average price remains below the record high of £239,642 set in July.
