Stop taking foot off gas... you're not Real

I walked away from Goodison Park disappointed again after Everton squandered a two-goal lead against Ipswich Town, wondering about where the issue is with this group of players.

Stop taking foot off gas... you're not Real

David Moyes has also got to look at himself, could he have changed it earlier?

When you look at the game, we were just drifting. You were thinking 'something is going to change soon and the whole atmosphere will go against us.'

I thought the manager could have made changes a little bit earlier. Ipswich were the first team to bring on subs and they showed a bit of freshness when they brought three on at the same time.

Going to Goodison Park for the last 3pm kick-off, and we knew the huge effort that the 1878s had put in beforehand to get the atmosphere going. It was fantastic to see, and it hit me quite hard and reminded me of when I was going to Goodison as a youngster.

Thank you to the 1878s for making our last memories of Goodison special. They've put in so much hard work with their volunteer team, which I've been part of myself in the past, to try and get the atmosphere going and inspire the players.

We know we're not the best team in the world, but this is our football club and we want to inspire the players to get that extra yard out of them. As a player, when the atmosphere is buzzing it does give you the incentive to try a little bit harder.
