Stena Line secure planning for new technology park

The scheme will include over 220,000 sqm of data centre, industrial and office development as part of a new low-carbon campus. It will also include a battery energy storage system benefitting from the site's existing grid connection.

Prosperity Parc is the first major site to come forward as part of Anglesey Freeport, sitting within the Freeport's “Anglesey Prosperity Zone” tax site.

Following the announcement of the approval of the Freeport's Full Business Case, the success of the technology park's planning application marks a major step forward in delivering on the key growth commitments of the Freeport.

At its peak, the proposals are forecast to generate up to £578m of growth in the local economy each year and create around 1,200 jobs.
