Rashford keen to show he has right training attitude

MARCUS RASHFORD has sent a message to Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim that his attitude towards training is where it needs to be as uncertainty over his future continues.

Rashford was dropped from the squad that won the Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium in December after Amorim was unimpressed by what he saw in training.

Alejandro Garnacho suffered this same treatment but while he returned for the next fixture, his teammate was nowhere to be seen.

In fact, Rashford would not play another minute for Amorim from that moment onwards as he was eventually loaned to Unai Emery's Aston Villa in the January transfer window.

When asked why Rashford was being left out, the Portuguese head coach alluded to the idea that the winger was not performing to the required standards during training.

It is understood that Rashford remains one of the players that United want to sell permanently this summer as they see little hope for him returning to the first-team picture.
