PUNDIT 'BAFFLED' BY MCILROY CONDUCT

GOLF ESPN's Scott Van Pelt has said he's "baffled" by Rory Mcllroy's recent behaviour.

Mcllroy had a tough time at the US Open, finishing joint 19th place as the course seemed to get the better of him.

Throughout the tournament, Mcllroy's emotions were on full display, with multiple instances of him venting his frustrations caught on camera.

He also ended his media boycott in dramatic fashion, by saying he'd "earned the right" to be selective about press engagements. As a result, Van Pelt believes that McIlroy appears to be angry at the world at the moment.
